The new hard-wearing nylon broadloom features many combinations of loop and cut pile surface treatments that create textural interest in a variety of patterns. Among the distinctive designs are Heartland, with its all-over small medallion pattern; Garden Quilt, a patchwork effect with alternating geometric, abstract and floral patterned squares; Fairfield, which features a geometric grid, and Fernwood, a looped treatment with a distinctive, all-over fern-like design. Colors in the broadloom collection range from soft, antiqued shades to vibrant hues. Some of the 22-style choices are available in as many as 48 different colors. While most of the designs are in solid shades, one, Country Fair, with its tightly twisted yarn, also comes in six flecked colors, making it an excellent choice for well used rooms and high traffic areas.
